This private pool villa in Khao Yai features an elevated saltwater pool with a glass wall detail that gives the pool a striking, modern presence while opening up the visual connection to the surrounding space.
One of the key highlights of this design is the way the pool is lifted above the activity area below. This allows the lower space to be transformed into a seamless semi-outdoor lounge, complete with built-in seating and a private gathering area, adding more functional value beyond the pool itself.
From an overall design perspective, the pool is carefully integrated with the home’s clean architectural lines, light-toned palette, and open spatial feel. The glass panel enhances the sense of lightness and contemporary elegance, creating a refined and distinctive atmosphere that is ideal for relaxation, family use, and entertaining within the villa.
The Challenge
Elevating the pool above a functional activity zone while integrating a structural glass wall panel required precise engineering on two fronts — the cantilevered pool structure above and the usable lounge space below. The design had to ensure both areas felt intentional and complete rather than one being secondary to the other.
The Result
A multi-level outdoor living environment where the glass-walled elevated pool and the semi-outdoor lounge below work as a single cohesive design — doubling the functional value of the space while creating a visual identity that is unmistakably modern.
