The Stage is an onsen project developed as part of the hotel’s guest service area. A key highlight of this project is the White Ion onsen concept, or milky bath, which creates a more distinctive and relaxing soaking experience.
The pool was designed in a larger size to accommodate multiple users, making it well suited for hotel use where both comfort and guest experience are important. The surface was finished with a marble-look design to enhance the sense of elegance, cleanliness, and visual harmony within the space.
The result is an onsen pool that delivers both functionality and refined aesthetics, helping elevate the hotel’s wellness area and create a more memorable relaxation experience for guests.
The Challenge
Delivering a White Ion (milky bath) system within a hotel context required both a technically reliable water treatment setup and a design finish that matched the hotel’s overall aesthetic. The pool also needed to handle the volume and daily consistency demands of hotel guest use — a far more intensive operational requirement than a private setting.
The Result
A large-format White Ion onsen with marble-finish surfaces that functions as both a striking hotel amenity and a high-capacity communal experience — elevating the wellness offering at The Stage with a concept that is visually distinctive and operationally dependable.
