Wellness World Ayutthaya is one of Interpool Spa’s early hydrotherapy prototype projects, designed as a full-function space for recovery and health support. In its early concept, the project was primarily developed to serve the needs of senior wellness.
Hydrotherapy uses water as part of body care through soaking, movement, and restorative use within a pool designed for practical function. This makes the project more than a standard pool. It is a dedicated space created to support structured care and recovery.
For Interpool Spa, this project represents an important early step in the development of hydrotherapy systems, before the idea of wellness expanded more broadly across all age groups.
The Challenge
The challenge was designing a hydrotherapy space purpose-built for senior users. Not a generic pool, but an environment where safe access, appropriate water depth, movement support, and care routines were all considered from the ground up, in a context where this type of facility had very little precedent in Thailand.
The Result
One of Interpool Spa’s earliest full-function hydrotherapy prototypes. A senior-focused recovery and wellness pool that laid the foundation for the company’s broader hydrotherapy capability, and demonstrated that water-based care could be designed with the same intention as any premium wellness environment.
