Interpool Spa

Lower yourself into 34°C water, let the lumbar jets find the exact spot under your lower back that has been tight for a decade, and feel the ache dissolve. Hydrotherapy is physical therapy you’ll actually look forward to — targeted warm-water massage, buoyancy that makes every movement easier, and a level of recovery that is nearly impossible to match on land.

Why a home hydrotherapy pool is worth it. Hydrotherapy is one of the most evidence-backed treatments in modern rehabilitation medicine — used by elite athletes to shorten recovery, by physiotherapists to rehabilitate post-surgery patients, by rheumatologists to manage arthritis and fibromyalgia, and by aging-in-place specialists to keep parents mobile for years longer. The reason is simple: warm water at 32–36°C unlocks stiff joints, buoyancy removes up to 90% of your body weight, and targeted jets deliver controlled deep-tissue massage that is gentle enough for daily use yet powerful enough to break chronic pain patterns.

What most people don’t realise is how much more a hydrotherapy pool does than a regular swimming pool. It includes heated therapeutic water year-round, ergonomic seating contoured for neck and lumbar support, adjustable high-flow jets, an integrated swim current for low-impact aerobic training, and accessibility features like gradual steps or a ramp for elderly or post-op users. For families managing recovery, chronic pain, mobility changes, or just high-performance training, it is a private treatment space, a swim-in-place training pool, a pain clinic, and an after-work refuge — all in one, all at home.

Interpool Spa has been engineering therapeutic pools in Thailand for more than two decades. Every hydrotherapy installation is designed around how the people using it actually live — training cycles, recovery needs, mobility requirements, family use. We handle the therapy-grade heating, filtration sized for warm-water chemistry, precision jet configuration, and long-term service, so your pool performs the way it was built to for years — not just the first summer.

Warm-jet recovery · cold-plunge inflammation control · resistance swim training · full accessibility. Engineered, built, and serviced by our own team in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Chiang Rai.

Popular Questions

A regular pool is built for swimming; a hydrotherapy pool is built for the body. The water stays in the therapeutic 32–36°C range year-round, seats are contoured to support the neck and lower back, high-flow jets are aimed at specific muscle groups, and the pool is typically smaller and deeper than a lap pool — all tuned for soaking, targeted massage, and gentle movement rather than swimming length. Most clients add an optional swim-current generator so they can still train aerobically against flowing water, without needing a 25-metre pool to do it.

Four groups in particular: (1) anyone managing chronic pain — arthritis, fibromyalgia, lower-back issues, old sports injuries; (2) people recovering from surgery or injury who need low-impact rehab without a long commute to a clinic; (3) athletes and heavy-training professionals who want daily access to deep-tissue jet massage and contrast therapy; (4) families with elderly parents or young children with mobility or sensory needs — warm water and accessible entry make daily movement therapy possible. That said, plenty of our clients simply buy one because it is the single best way they have found to unwind at the end of a long Thai workweek.

A home hydrotherapy pool can be installed indoor or outdoor, standalone or integrated with an existing swimming pool as a separate heated zone. Minimum workable footprint is roughly 2.5 × 3 m for a 4-person pool; larger therapeutic pools run 4 × 6 m or more if you want a full swim-current lane. We offer a free site visit anywhere in Thailand to assess drainage, electrical load, ventilation (indoor builds), sun exposure, and access paths for elderly or mobility-impaired users. You walk away with a clear plan, fixed pricing, and a realistic timeline before you commit.
